Pawn Gallery has been hosting visual art shows in Dallas for the better part of a year, and exists within the offices of Print Electric, Inc. - a communication/design firm located in the heart of Dallas' Deep Ellum.

The pre-show interview printed in Quick, a Dallas free weekly paper, certainly helped spread the word and enabled us to relocate quite a few of Mark's prints to new homes in Dallas.

Although the artist was unable to personally attend the reception in Dallas, we were successfull in hosting a live video conference with Mark from his office at Mutato Muzika in Hollywood, CA. Several gallery visitors were able to sit & chat with Mark via the wonders of the internet, all of which was recorded. That same footage was shown throughout the night on a projection screen in the outside patio at Pawn Gallery, which was quite a crowd-pleaser.

20 framed prints from Mark Mothersbaugh's Postcard Diaries series were on display at Pawn Gallery, and included a couple titles that were making their public debut.

Special thanks to Mark and Dave of Pawn Gallery for the great show, and to Kenny Hensley at cronicart.com for his hospitality during my stay in Dallas.
