The figure was offered in McDonald's Happy Meals in April 2008 as part of a series of American Idol themed figures.

DEVO had no part in it...and were notified by fans who saw the figures advertised in McDonald's TV commercials.

Flipping a switch on the figure's back plays a very DEVO-esque song...which sounds a little like DEVO's "Dr. Detroit".
